About me

I'm an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Faculty Research Fellow at National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) in the Public economics group.

My current focus is on the interaction of corporate taxation, firm location decisions, and the location and scale of economic activity. I am interested in many fiscal policy issues such as the incidence and efficiency costs of corporate taxation, the economic impacts of taxing high-income earners, corporate tax policy and declining labor shares, productivity and taxation, and biased productivity growth & rising healthcare expenditures.
